Artful & Glamorous

The clients are empty nesters and entrepreneurs who have lived in the house for 15 years. The reason for the redesign was simple- get rid of everything Homegoods or old and update it to reflect their unique personalities, sense of fun and adventure. They are full of life. They love travel and adventure and it shows through their selections in furnishings, art and other collections. I went to New York, at the first event from Covid opening and I found a ton of smaller makers, artisan creators that I pulled into the design concepts. I really honed in on original artful pieces. From that it led me down a few European paths that helped me develop the capsules and create these purposeful, cohesive spaces that fit within the overall architecture of the building. I wanted to reflect this sense of community and fun, where people gather both comfortably and formally, memorably in each area in places that both the homeowners loved just as much.
